interactive CD-ROM has been highly appreciated
& used and has become the standard tool
for Diamond Inc. to demonstrate their products.
Challenge
i2Eye was approached by Diamond Inc. to help them
provide their sales force with a tool that could
assist in the delivery of information and demonstration
of a new product being introduced to the market.
Their problem was that to demonstrate the product
effectively, they would have to show the product
to the customer in person, demonstrate the capabilities
and explaining the differences between its competitors.
Results
The
approach was to develop an interactive CD-ROM
that would replace the on-site meeting, introduce
a consistent message, and help increase sales.
The presentation developed would become an aid
for the sales rep during their sales call as well
as a tool to send or leave behind.
i2Eye's primary goal was to evaluate the objectives
of the project, develop a project plan to accomplish
the goals and deliver a final product that met
or exceeded their expectations.
Our creative staff worked with their marketing
department to design and develop a user-interface
and a brand that reflected the image and the message
that needed to be communicated. As with many projects,
the creative team developed numerous concepts
in conjunction with a script. After review by
the Diamond team and the legal department,
the go ahead was given to produce the interactive
CD-ROM.
The decision to develop the CD-ROM in Flash MX
was agreed upon based on the content, end-user
and goals that were set in the project plan. Flash
provided the platform to animate and demonstrate
the customer's product while adding in the necessary
interactivity to allow customers to choose what
they want and don't want to view.
